The Ascent sets itself apart from the Explorer by featuring a set of Exclusive ADVANCED Carbon and Photo-Catalytic filters.

Our Advanced Carbon Filtration is twice as thick, powerful, and combines the power of zeolites and course carbon to maximize absorption of chemicals and impurities in the air you breathe. The naturally microscopic pores of our zeolite maximizes odor neutralization, while the refined carbon sucks these impurities deep into the filter. The result is a carbon filter technology that yields far greater absorbtion!

The Advanced Photo-Catalytic Filter (PCO) features an extra large surface area that grants it the ability to eliminate harsh chemicals and toxic fumes. This Photo-Catalytic process is revved into high gear by using the synergy of the Ascent's onboard UV lamps to activate the titanium-dioxide within our filter and purify the air. This process destroys volatile organic compounds (VOC's) and deconstructs a wide array of undesirable petrochemicals in the air (i.e. kerosene, gasoline, and even compounds from paints and varnishes).

Additionally, the Ascent features the virus-killing power of Ultra-Violet (UV) Sanitation.
